NEW RULE for Help Threads
Illness, Injury, and other Healthcare related threads, particularly in the "Help Me" forum and the "Health Issues" forum are places to ask questions about the health and well being of captive herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians) and discuss possible causes, treatments, and other issues relating to the problem. This is a place for genuine problems and genuine answers. Excessive off topic "chat" within a help thread is not appropriate and will no longer be tolerated. Such posts are subject to deletion without notice or notification. Warnings or further administrative action may be taken when deemed necessary by the site administration team. Deletion of such posts or related administrative action is at the discretion of the site moderators and administrators and may vary depending on the quantity and content of posts.
All viewpoints are welcome. However, misinformation or advice that would prove harmful to the animal in question should be avoided and may be debunked, removed, or edited. There are many methods involved in the care of reptiles and there is usually not a single right answer, however, time and experience have shown that there ARE WRONG ANSWERS. These wrong answers are dangerous not only to the animal in question, but also to anyone who reads such information, member or not. Therefore, care must be taken by members to only include verified and correct information. Additionally, efforts will be made by the moderators and administrators to ensure this policy.
It is better to have NO answers, than wrong ones.
I will leave this thread here for a couple days so everyone can comment and complain, then it will be stuck at the top of each forum.
