my daughters 21st birthday present
since devin was about 8 she wanted a handicapped cat. one with 3 legs or blind etc...well she found a kitten that was born with only one eye. it was at some cat adoption place. i have insisted no more cats ever. she already has one cat. cats are my least favorite animals. well it being her birthday who could say no? anyways she had to drive a hour each way to get it. 90.00 adoption fee plus a 50.00 deposit till it gets spayed.
devin has always been obsessed with cats. when she was like 2 years old we couldn't let her watch cartoons cause if tom got hurt by jerry or sylvester got hurt by tweety she would scream and cry and it would take me and her dad at least 20 minutes to calm her down. we would have to rent movies about cats and watch them first.

I sooo love kittens. Problem is: They do grow bigger and then they start running over the keyboard, eat all the house plants and the fresh bread that you accidentally left by the entrance door, cause you got your hands full with all them other bags. Sometimes they jump out of the litter box to greet you at the door, while they aren't quite finished with there business and they always have to run under your feet while you are walking down the stairs! Remedy: Love them a litlle more when they are grown cats, so you are able to put up with them!

I can be serious too (REALLY!): Last time hubby and I got into it he left the house during the argument, came back about 20 minutes later and put an egg-timer in front of me, that he had picked up from a store downtown, and said: Now, you can speak your mind until that last grain of sand goes down to the bottom and then it's my turn! I didn't understand: Why, what's that good for? He said: I would like to tell you my side of the story, but you just won't let me get a word in! Huh, did I let him have it for that comment! After all, he's the one who helped me refine my knowledge of the english language (it's not my native tongue, okay?!). So, there you go ... I can be serious. It's just that the people around me make it very difficult to stay serious. Egg-timer ... tsetsetse!

Wrecka - I think the kitty is as cute as a button. Sometimes it's not the looks of something/someone that makes that something/someone special. Something/someone can look beautiful on the outside and be the most disgusting character inside. THAT is creepy and freaks me out!

dont take this the wrong way...
from those 2 pictures, your daughter reminds me of Lydia from BeetleJuice...whom I like to think is very cute.
Cute cats, I have one too. He's all grown up now tho...and does all those things SoundUnSleep mentioned...especially walking under my feet when I go down the stairs.
I see the love of needy animals runs in the family for you guys! What a nice girl you have, adopting that poor Wink. Has Wink met Chance yet?
