It's just so sad that it took the news to get this out.... these kind of things happen everyday. And now we have people trying to throw money at us....
Shawney isn't the only one with injuries like this.
But I am happy that people finally opened their eyes.

Acting that way would make you no better than the individual who hurt the dog. Revenge is never right -- though proper justice and punishment should be applied.

I agree with you Charlie, but it doesnt stop me from WANTING to thump him one!
People like him are not worth it...beleive me I was married to a guy like that..
He got mad at me and thru my daughters cat out of the car on the bypass..Or at least thats what he told me..Thinking about that has made me physically ill!

Just a little clarification...
Believe me, I KNOW what you mean. I want to drive THROUGH every idiot who pulls out in front of me each morning. I want to slap the morons who park right in front of the door at the gas station. I want to smack the jerks who pass in no passing zones and curves -- endangering lives -- just because they are in a hurry to go no where. Believe me, I KNOW... BUT, saying we would kill someone is a whole different story. That is going too far. It is putting violence and actionable threats to a passing feeling of anger.
Your ex sounds like a real winner. I'm sure it took a lot of guts and manliness to throw a helpless feline out of a car. BTW, I'd want to smack him, too.

We are trying to get Shawney an appointment with a specialist in Tampa for her leg. Her wrist will most likely have to be fused. There isn't any tendons/ligaments left on her wrist to hold it together. Her road burn went to the bone in that area.This week she started barking at other dogs (with her tail wagging). She still has a long road ahead of her, but she's doing very well.
