Passing this along from
www.snakesofarkansas.com.. OI thought some of the more experienced herpetologists might be interested:
Your expertise may be beneficial to the conservation of rattlesnakes.
We are putting together an online discussion concerning the conservation of the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. This discussion will be a four to six week discussion to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to issues affecting rattlesnake conservation (and the conservation of wildlife and habitat associated with Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnakes)
This online brainstorming session will hopefully generate some new ideas to help wildlife and habitat preservation.
The group will be open to anyone who has an expertise that may benefit rattlesnakes, not just herpetologists. If you have friends in other disciplines that you think might be beneficial, please invite them! Someone with experience in an unrelated field may bring new and fresh ideas.
The discussion can be found at

Please forward this to anyone you know who has an interest in reptile and amphibian conservation.
Thanks,
Chad Minter
