What am I doing wrong? My babies arn\'t selling at all...

I've posted here, fauna classifieds, clays site, and a few other places. I did a local add internet thing for craiglists.com or something or other... They're in the local buyers guide. They're are signs up at the decent petstores around here.
I have a bloody page devoted to them, on my website!
And total I've had maybe 4-5 people e-mailing me interested in them... and so far only 1 has kinda panned out, but by the looks of things it's falling apart fast...
Now I understand the babies were born right smack dab when the markets were flooded... But I go to other sites and it seems like everyone elses babies are just flying out the window...
My prices are cheap for a rtb, cheaper still for a snake that could be carrying and "interesting" trait, and yet blah occurs... [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]
Are my picture taking skills that bad?
What else should I do? And NO wholesale is not an option...

I can answer that question in one word... Daytona.

No one's buying right now because they're saving in anticipation of the National Reptile Breeders Expo. The weeks leading up to the expo have never been a good time for buying & selling herps.

As I've said, people are saving their money in anticipation for what they'll find at the expo. On that same note, breeders are less willing to negotiate lower prices for their animals right now because they know there's a good chance they can get the asking price at the expo.

Have patience, things will return to "normal" in about a month or so.

Selling something ..hmm. wouldn't that be the trade forum ?

UMmmm.. Are you the same person who keeps repeatedly placing posts in forums that have absolutely NO binding relationship to where you place them at all ? Thus making more work for me [ now if I could just get other admins to "move" incorrectly placed forums it would lighten this up even from my end ] in having to serve an eviction notice, pack the posts baggage up and then send em on the "fly" to the correct forum.. Of course not until after I place a note such as this one on the thread also. REALLy, HONESTLY... There is NO need to try and make sure that I have enough work to do here on RTb at all. I find plenty to do and a bit of time by NOT having to do things like this with postings would give me even more time to post around the forums or do other admin stuff as well. Thanx though for making sure that there is always plenty to do here

I can't say that I was the person that you're talking about...
However, this may pertain to me selling something but in the post I'm not directly selling something. I'm asking people what they would do in my case, why my babies weren't selling very well, and other places I could post my babies for sale? To me this seems far off from "i have a snake for sale" ...
So to me the "random conversation forum" seemed appropriate and if it wasn't then
I'm sorry you have to move it (although I don't see why you need to)....

After reading this I still don't think my post applies to the Trading Post Forum...
