U.S.A and Guns
Hi guys i had previously noticed that the punching in the throat thread got closed. But i never got my question answered about if you can walk in to buy a machine gun (ie an ak47 or m16) etc. can anyone own one ??

no, u cant just buy one
they have to check your background
and there is a clearing period in which you have to wait
and the gun has to be registered and licensed in your name

so im a normal 21 year old with no previous convictions and i have waited the clearing period, now can i get my ak47, uzi, m16???
