Anyone ever been punched in the throat?
I got dropped from my Thailand program and decided to go out and get in a fight ( stupid I know), well I was doing good, throing knees and bos, then one of his friend sucker punched me in the throat. I regret that I had to resort to groin strikes to get out alive but later in the night I realized I couldnt talk. It doest hurt too mcuh anymore unless I sawllow or talk but will it go away or is it something I shopuld be concerned about?

Due to countless sparring and martial arts tournaments gone awry... I can sadly say yes, although mainly off of deflections. It does hurt and can potentially kill you. My advise... dont get yourself in fights.

i love fighting too much, i normally only fight in the ring, but last night i was kinda needing to release lol.

Just give it a few days to heal. A bad hit can make your throat collapse in. so be careful
