Okay, I'll play.

The HOA finally fixed the little bridge that was keeping me up at nights for 5 months. Just in time for the pool to open. Dozens of screaming kids till midnight every day. And may I just say that whoever invented the game of Marco Polo should be shot. Several times.

Just like Crush, I would like to find a decent guy, but the pickins are really slim around here. I hate dating. That's why I have snakes.

Edit, Crush is not looking for a guy. Sorry, Crush.

I just ran up my credit card on clothes and now need to get a third job to pay it off.

My new massage client is a diva and a royal pain in the (fill in). She calls me all the time asking for huge favors. Recently she left her watch at my house and insisted I should drive it over to her. But I can't cut her off because she prepays for 10 sessions in advance, and I need the money. Looking forward to 10 more massages with her is like looking forward to an earwig crawling through my ear canal.

And finally, I have to go back to work at my office job on Tuesday after a 2-week vacation. This job sucks really bad, but I haven't found anything that pays as well, so I'm stuck there until I can sell this noise-infested condo that won't sell.

Enough grief for one day?

Looks like it is today. Things will get better soon Stargazer! You seem like a great, positive person so it's only a matter of time. What you said about Crush made me laugh for a minute. It sounds like you know that when it comes to friends, quality is far more important than quantity. Count that as one more blessing you have.

I also agree that snakes are sometimes better company than people
