Hmm lets see..With gas prices We've been really tight.
Then I had that
KIA that kept crapping out. I wasnt sure HOW I was going to pay the bills, and my landlord showed up offering me work (I had given him a business card when we moved in) I stayed slammed with places for several months and got a lot of things paid for.. Then it slowed up and just when I was getting frustrated with bills and some other things that came up (tickets, needing new tires) the work came back...It was getting dumped back into the car, but the car would have broke down anyways..It was great having the money to fix it right THEN..Especially since that was our family car.
Plus when we got the snakes, I had 2 jobs running and so the $600 went directly to their cage and vet bills. I was bound and determined to make it work, but it helped to not have to stress out about HOW I was going to make it work.
Now I have the Blazer and gas prices are eating me alive..But I will find a way to make it work, Ive already hit my landlord up for whatever work he may have, not just cleaning. He gave my number to a couple of people for other work, so Im keeping my fingers crossed.
Now, we are really wanting to go to Tunica in June, and just so happens a job will be coming up again within a week... So there is my gas money, and I can budget some motel/spending (not much, but better than NONE).
