D12 rapper Proof killed
well, for those rap fans, especially eminem, you probly heard of proof. he was one of 6 members of eminems rap group D12, which means dirty dozen. he was shot in the head at a night club early this morning.

yea but if you followed proof, he wasnt (at least in public eye) a trouble starting guy. he was a life loving person. if you watched backstage footage of him, he was always cheerful, and happy. and he was a talented rapper as well.

rex is right, d-12 actually had a previous member shot and killed a few years back and they were anti-gang violence, they actually had a song on their second album talking about taking lives is never justified

i like some rap..Not a HUGE fan, but I think em is pretty genius even if sometimes I dont agree with the message..
I can respect someone without agreeing..and I feel bad that this man's life ended so violently and abruptly.

That's too bad!! I am a huge Eminem fan...D12 were alright as a group, but Proof was awesome alone!! He was such a character as well~!! If anyone doesn't know who he is, and they have seen 8 Mile...he was the first rapper Rabbit (Eminem) faced and lost to in the battle at the start of the movie. This must really be effecting Eminem...first his 2nd divorce and now one of his best friends shot in the head? Man...sucks!!

Update
Looks like the new deveolpment on the story is it was the bouncer that shot Proof in self defense because Proof shot an unarmed guy (who happened to be the bouncers cousin) its sad to see people result to taking lives

That is a great loss to the rap industry. Proof had some of the slickest freesytling lyrics and was the best memember of D12.
