Florida Passes Permit requirement.

Ok, here's the jist from my local mullet wrapper. The permit will be renewable annually and applies to these species:
Pythons:
Burms
Afrocks
Retics
Amys

No mention of anacondas.

Lizards:
It just says monitors, no species designations

No mention of a "grandfather clause" and if you get caught releasing any it is a 3rd degree felony.

What is not specified is whether out of state vendors will be required to purchase the permit to sell the listed species at Florida shows, nor how they will enforce the purchases at shows.

so this is a permit for owning, selling, or both? that might make me think twice before moving from boas into burms . . . if you come across a link, please post it, i would really like to read more on this.

Hmm sounds like they seriously need to clarify...Probably with it being a new law, they havent hammered out all the kinks..Im sure Grandfathering will be added in...I am glad they made it a felony to release them!!
