The first message board I ever used was Thirdgen.org. It is a site dedicated to the third generation F-body also known as the Chevy Camaro and the Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am). This covers the years 1982-1992. When I got my childhood dream car in 1999, a '90 Camaro, I decided to take better care of it than I did my first car *cough*(89 tbird)*cough*. hmmm....maybe I shouldnt admit my first car was a ford in writing

LOL
ANYWAYS, I searched the net thick and thin for info on this car. Finally after checking site after site, link after link, I found Thirdgen. I didn't even know I had a thirdgen. But the site got me on my feet mechanically speaking and i eventually learned the ins and outs of my car. Funnily enough, I owe a lot more to that website than I wish to admit and its only becoming clear as I sit here and type it. I never gave my first car an oil change cuz i didnt know cars needed them. Now I am a mechanic. surprisingly enough, a good mechanic. But everything I learned about cars, roots at that website. It is the origin, the epicenter, the creation site of my love for cars.
To put a spin on it, redtailboa.net has begun to do the same thing to me with reptiles. I have had bearded dragons before so I have a small amount of familiarity with the basic principles of keeping reptiles, but this site has nurtured my desire to learn thus far and I see no end in sight! All I want to do is learn more about these little creatures!
So to end my long story, I am a bit promiscuous (sp?) with my message boards

but they are as follows:
Thirdgen.org for my car's technical needs,
3rdgen.org for non technical socialization with car buffs,
RedTailBoa.net for my reptilian desires,
Sherdog.net to grant my mixed martial arts wishes,
Traxxas.com for help with my Traxxas Rustler (gas powered radio control car),
and NitroRC.com for the Rustler too.
and NO i dont have myspace!
