I know some of you said that you'd like to know if they would ever show him getting bit. Well here is you answer. Maybe this will open some peoples eyes to what can happen when keeping hots.

I don't watch him anyways, but if it is a new bite by something like a death adder, then I am all for it!
I would even volunteer to help brush the snakes teeth afterwards if it gives him a full load of venom!
Poor snakie, roaming around trying to impress the other gender with Erwin on its breath.....

well... I remember a while back I watched an episode where they had out takes from the show and he got tagged by many snakes, so I think they do cut out the ones where he gets tagged.
But I just had a thought. We keep saying that it's a good thing he's introducing snakes to people world wide and opening their minds.
Keeping in mind most people don't know the first thing about snakes, I think it's for the best they don't show him getting tagged. People don't know about stress to snakes, about snakes liking to be left alone and their "live and let live" attitude. To them it'll just be prove that snakes, All snakes, are mean, untrust worthy and not suited to be pets.
Aren't we better off giving out the impression that they are friendly and then educate potential owners one at a time?
All I need is for my land lord to see him get tagged and then come up with something stupid like "I thought your snakes were time and don't bite... why did Steve Erwin get tagged?"
Just a thought.

Nah... Thats too Disney...
Besides, if ya teach a whole lot of people that snakes are friendly, instead of just wanting to be left alone, then there will be a percentage (darwinism) that will think that they can go find, catch and speak with things such as EDBs or cottonmouths or even try and freehand one of their buddies or someone elses Gabbooon viper.
Good education should be the stressing point, not sensationalism as is often done in the name of the almighty dollar.
If ya don't think that people will do what they learn on tv and movies, then I won't mention a local girl thats in intensive care after jumping off a counter riding a broom and receiving a head injury just moments after watching Harry Potter.
Also don't forget the shows such as "When Animlas Attack' brought to us , usually by FOXtv.
There are many clips of humans not realizing just how extremely dangerous some of these animals are and insisting on doing really dumb things, like standiong right beside a bears cage and taunting it, then being grabbed by the bear, all thanks to the many shows and movies that teach the dumb (darwinism again...) that all animals are intelligent compassionate creatures that speak english, have a fair sense of life and are willing to help each other and humans in times of need or want.....

BUT... done the wrong way and it can create phobias of snakes... I'm not sure which is worse. between "Jaws" and "When animals attack" I was so afraid of Sharks I couldn't go swiming for a couple of years (ok... that's going way back, just stressing my point.)
At least he should find a way to stress the difference between hots and none venamous snakes.
