Dang Piece of Crap Computer Exploded!
Anyone know how something like this could happen? This is my snakeroom computer...Odd thing is, it still runs! lol

di you have a side fan mounted there? that's wild man... never seen anything like that and I've been building computers for about 10 yrs now.... only thing I can think of is something got way to hot and shorted out causing an explosion...
Once again that is just crazy... looks like a bomb went off in there..... are you missing anything... I noticed an IDE cable hanging out and what looks like a fan connector or something.

What the...
It exploded? That's kinda random. What could have exploded and sent something with that big of a hole THROUGH the metal? I'm not sure there's even anything big enough to cause that kind of damage if there was an object actually thrown from the inside of the tower...

LOL Dude...I was kidding. It's my form of humor/art. I cut the side out, hung a modem in the wires, hung an old floppy cable and a soundcard wire out the side and plexi'd over the hole. You can't see the plexi but it's there. If you notice, this box doesn't even have ribbon cables...just the round ones. I hate ribbons. They make cooling issues.

I finished making hooks for the show in SC coming up next week...had a big holesaw and jigsaw staring at me...I had nothing better to do but sit and watch glue dry...the snakeroom computer is right by the door to my carport...next thing I know, I had the side off cutting out an explosion lol...things we do when bored.
