So frustrating
I have found the single hardest thing to get the garbage men to take. .................... a freakin trash can! You have to spraypaint "PLEASE TAKE CAN" in huge letters and even then, it takes a couple times before they get it. Either that or you have to bag it (hard to find bags that large. Ok, i'm done

LOL i have had that happen. we live on a busy road and i have to replace trash cans every year do to semi trucks smashing them to bits. But I never have to worry about them getting taken by the garbage men. Seems teh semi's get rid of em for me. And ya know how Rubbermaid says they are indestructable? Well lemme tell ya a semi truck pretty much makes that claim false lol.

I always had those big "super can's" BFI gives you. You know the ones the truck picks up and dumps and no one has to get out of the truck.

If you wanna get a trashcan to fit in a trash bag you could always take a chainsaw to it or a sledge hammer or something even better... lol

I don't know how they would hold up to a semi but they tore the rear end of my minivan up one time. It was in my blind spot and I ran over it with the rear corner of the van and I was stuck for hours until I was able to get some help getting it out. Couldn't move my van at all because it was lodged underneath. Caused about 900 in damages that I never got fixed.
