Georgia Aquarium - Dissapointed
We got our season tickets and finally made it down there today. The belugas and whale sharks were nice looking. But overall, I would grade it a "C". It is designed as a "look at the pretty fish" place with surprisingly little information on ANYTHING. I did find one board for the belugas and one sentence on the whale sharks. Everything else was once sentence about the fish. Hardly any of the tanks were labeled as to what was in there. The labels I did see were usually up near the ceiling on the other side of the hall away from the display. The layout was riddled with bottlenecks. The line to get the photo for the season pass holders was an hour. Security was like the airport. Very few employees.
Overall Rating:
Building Design - C
Animals - A
Enclosure Design - A
Information - F
Educational Value - F
Overall, a massive disappointment. You get more information on the cards at PetsMart.

It certainly is nice if you just want scenery. Great looking displays and animals, just no information or educational value. A waste of a good opportunity as far as I am concerned.

They had nice animals, just no information on them. It is such a great opportunity for some public education. But I think that they are wasting that opportunity.
