I made one from a old freezer with the guts yanked out, a 50w CHE in a dome reflector lamp, a biostat thermostat, and some water trays to maintain ambient humidity.

I keep the humidity around 95% and keep the incubation medium only slightly moistened.

depending on what your incubating, the average temps will be 78-82 degrees for turtles/colubrids/lizards.
pythons (most types) need 89-91 degrees.

The fridg/freezer thing is pretty cool but if a person didn't need one that big would the fish tank work well?? I dodn't intend to hatch anythink I just find it interesting and maybe some day I will have enough knowledge to give it a try. unless one of my boas lays an egg. j/k

lol you can just do the same thing as they did with the freezer and build in out of melamine or wood and insulate it, it would be even better than the fish tank idea
