When does a person walk away? My husband has never cut thecord of his 32 yr old son who is Dyslexic. That is always my husbands reason for helpin him no matter what. Three councelors total and 99% has always returned the way thing used to be , just a temp fix. How much can love compensate for?:wtf:

Hmmm...most parents usually don't ever completely let go, no matter how old they are or what happens....though, I'm a little confused as well as Rex on what you mean???

I think the confusion is coming from why this is being posted on this particular site?
I have to agree with the others about never completely letting go but your husband also has an obligation to try to "teach his son to fish" if you get my meaning? But...I could see where that would cause problems between you.
Good luck to you and your family.

dyslexia is not an excuse for anything. im not quit sure what your saying but my sister is dyslexic and it doesnt hinder her from doing anything.
about the letting go, my children will always know they can turn to me whenever they need to, just like my parents have always been there for me.

With true love, like that of a parent for a child, one never walks away.
