dateline showed the third of their shows on internet predators last night, and alot of them found victims on myspace. it may be ok in most instances, but i think it's too big a risk for young people. i probably sound too strict but i don't care. one dead kid is too many. i also think crimes against children should be a capital offense on the first strike!

Parents should teach their children to not give out personal information over the internet... There's nothing wrong with myspace at all if you have common sense about it and "don't talk to strangers."

i don't have. but last night there was something dateline, how two men managed to fine the location of 2 teenage girls, and raped them....
it's extremely popular though

I enjoy it, but it's definitely something to be extremely cautious with.
I'm not in high school anymore, but I don't understand the need for all these kids to communicate with each other on MySpace when they see each other every day live down the street from one another.
I assume the majority of them like getting their "kicks" online with it too though.
