This is HORRIBLE - Man eats live snake - Video
Mind you I didn't watch this with the sound on (I'm at school) but I don't think anything I could have heard would make this any better.
I had to stop the video short cuz I couldn't handle it.
WARNING - This is not for the weak of stomach. This is a guy eating a live snake. Absolutely HORRIBLE
Louise you REALLY might wanna avoid this one.

One of these days I'm sure he'll get what's coming to him by eating raw, live snake.... WCs don't exactly have a guarenteed clean bill of health.
My first response was "What is wrong with some people?" ... But it is a different culture... Not saying that it's right, but different... Discusting IMO.

its nothing compared to what they do to them in the animal markets in SE Asia.
The often skin them alive, remove gall bladders while they are alive.
In comparsion, this guy is humane.
Snakes have been food for SE Asian cultures for centuries, but over the last few decades its become a "status" food, so now snake numbers over the whole region have been in decline, and consequently rodent populations have been on the rise.
I dont see how one guy eating one snake a day would harm a population.
Now a truck load of snakes going to a Chinese market everyday... thats impact.
And if anyone likes lobster (which is boiled alive) I wouldnt comment on this.
Its the SAME thing, just a different animal, thus subject to our own biases.

I used to love lobster...I kinda started feeling bad after my kids kept hermit crabs for a while. My mother used to say that if you put them in a pot and allow them to boil slowly they would fall asleep and it was very humane. Not sure how true it is though, because this is the same person who said "God is moving his furniture around" when I asked what thunder was.
I do think though---that eating something other then a clam while it's alive is bad no matter what animal it is.
