Well you tell me if this is a sign I've been ignoring. IN my life which has only been 21 years I've had three similiar stories. First when I was in elementary school there was a baby pitbull had to be only 2 or 3 months romaing the streets and it followed me from school to my hosue which is about a 15 minute walk and about 8 new york blocks. Then it stayed at my backdoor for about 2 horus whining and barking I mean im sure i didnt help by giving it food.
Second time: I was in North Carolina taking a walk, which is about all you can do when your fomr New York and in Northcarolina with no car, And out of no where this dog runs across the street and stops right next to me and my first reaction naturally is to become a ninja and backflip ontop of a car but i left my ninja suit in NY.
So this dog follows me for bout two three blocks before i remember a Vet i passed while driving so i had to run for about 10 North Carolina Blocks up and down hills to keep the dog from running in the street which is did anyway...ppl looking at me like "Boy yah bette git yo dowg"(My version os NC twang). So eventually we got to the vet and they took him in..Score one for me.
Lastly Last week I was walking from my hosue and this Gorgeous red nose pit had to be about 2 years old female walked up to me and gave me the saddest look and i melted. And of course she started following me as well, for about 10 blocks crossed streets and all she followed me obediently. Wouldnt cross the street without me and of course when ppl see a pitbull off the leash they panick and scream for me to get my Dog and id call her and she comes runing to me jumping on me and lickin my hand., I cant tell yall enuff how i fel in love. But mom is terrified of dogs and i didnt kow the dogs history so i opted to call the ASPCA. Went to the firehouse near me where they couldnt keep the dog because they recently took in a dog that went "bizerk" went to a cat and dog hospital and they refused to keep the dog for reasons unknown to me. So i wound up waiting 2 hours and being late to practice for Animal control to coem get the dog that whined and barked when they came and picked her up...I gave them my info so if noone adopts her i may have to convince mom and tell her their lest terrifying than snakes....Just figured id share a story or two anyone else have animal stories of their own?
