does this look safe?

i keep my snakes on mulch and i dampen it 2xs a day to keep humidity. but after 5-6 hours the guyanas cage drops to high 20s. so if i am not home she is in that little bit of humidity. i had misters and foggers and they were horrible. well i found this today and i was wondering if it is safe. i can put any temp of water in it i want. i would keep it on the warm side of her tank and with the constant water i think it may help. it is made out of wood and the bucket part is steal. there is a little pump in the bucket part and it feeds water to the spout with a hose. it has vines and it seems the wood could help for shedding (rubbing on it). plus it looks so darn cute. with the guyana i have to keep her warm side around 90 degrees and humidity about 60 or it is a gauranteed thing she will skip a meal. with her highness every last thing has to be perfect. well let me know if it looks totally safe.

As long as all electrical connections are hidden and there is no way the snake could tip it over and get into the "works" of it. But heavy bodied snakes can tip things like that over and if it has no water running through the pump the pump will burn out.

What kind of cage is it that it doesn't hold any humidity? There would really have to be a LOT of air circulating through it for the humidity to drop that far and that fast. Or else your hygrometer is not giving you true readings.
A large waterbowl on the warm side of most any 4ft. cage I can think of would keep the humidity above 55%. So there must be something we are missing here.

david it is a tank with a screen lid. i keep all the screen covered with wet towels except a small part that the heat lamp is on. i have changed the hygrometer a few times thinking that too. it dont happen to any of the other tanks. i have a water bowl on the cool side. i think tomorrow i will add another to the hot side. the rest of the tanks stay around 50-55 after 6 hours. i decided i will just keep this contraption as a decoration, to many what ifs.

Wet towels are a bad idea unless you change them every day or so. They mold. Plastic is a much better humidity-holder-inner. You guys that have the water bowls on the warmside...please put another water bowl on the cool side so the snake doesn't have to drink hot water.
