Just thought I would point this out.
"Most of the snake skins that we use in creating our crafts come from pre-deceased snakes from private collections that died from natural causes. The rest come from legal hunts."
I still don't acknowledge this business though.

I wonder how much is home grown and how much is hunted??
Home grown I have no problem with (I have used snake and shark hides to make holster's for seveal years now)...Hunted bugs me a bunch
Yea I work with hides everyday so I cant really give an unbiased opinion, but it just doesnt bother me that much that snake hides are used in this way...As long as it isnt an endangered or threatened species that is

That makes me sick, baby cobras, baby copper heads!!!! Those poor animals have no chance at life. These type of buisnesses need to be shut down asap!!! I feed horrible for the people that were conned into buying these products. I am devestated to see that people actually buy these things. I have no problems with the tribes that hunt the snakes where they live for food and such since they have been doing this for a long time but killing the animals to make money makes me think how many have really died from natural causes, probably very few.

thank you so much, i was beginning to think i was the only one against it. but if i had a pet boa, i could never skin it and use it for a wallet!!im ti attached to my animals to do something like that. and in one of the pictures you see that guy holding a cobra, i would like to see it turn around and just bite him.i mean what a moron holding a cobra anyways.

Natural causes is differnet but how many of his products do you truthfully think died from natural causes? Probably about 1 out of 10000!!!! Cruel and rediculous to kill a perfectly healthy snake just to make a few wallets or money clip.

There is nothing wrong with that providing you didn't take a hatchet to the snake to kill it or throw it in the freezer. I have thought about getting a snake stuffed many times. I even was going to post an add on kingsnake asking for dead snakes of over 10 feet in good condition to be stuffed. Of course I didn't want to sound weird and I couldn't find a good taxidermist around here that would stuff a snake. I wanted to get a huge burm stuffed with a rabbit in its coils but couln't find a guy willing to do snakes.

Do you own anything made of leather? Shoes? belt? An animal was killed to make those products. Some argue that ..yeah well, we eat the cow. This is true but most of your finer leather products don't come from cow hide. It comes from goat. How much goat do you consume a year? We love our snakes or we wouldn't be here. Not everone shares our love. There are people that keep pet goats that are every bit as outraged at the leather seats in your car.

True, I guess you just proved a point, but either way it is cruel. I have never owned anything thats real leather besides a bealt that I got a wal-mart for 24$ which I'm guesing was not high quality leather.

Wanna high quality leather belt for $21.50 that IS high quality?? Let me know imp: <~~blatant act of self promotion!
JS hit it on the head...Porkchops and Porterhouse does not grow on trees...it is cut from an animal that was once alive...The leather that I use for holster's, belts and handbags were once attached to a living animal
There is an argument all over the gun message boards about Kydex and leather holsters..My argument to this has always been that to have a holster that feel's alive when ya wear it, it once had to be alive!!
The true leathers that cost a bundle come from horses and goats and elephants...
I truly dislike hunting animals for resale...Farming them and using the ones that were once a pet I have no worries with...
Tanning your own hide isnt hard...PM me and I will give ya a quick course...Not for the squemish though
