Site Hacked :(

Im sorry I have been away so long. All my sites were hacked and wiped off the server, so I have been really busy rebuilding them. I finally got Python Palace back up, but I lost all the member info. Life goes on. It good that sites like this are here to lift my spirits and inspire me to move on!

I dont know why people have to do such things? Are their lives really so boring? I honestly just do not get it.

Anyway its nice to be back among the friendly!

I feel your pain but the power of regular backups is more than any "hacker" can contend with. I personally know that if someone where actually able to breech my server I could have everything back up in a matter of hours...I don't think I could ever put my trust into a commercial hosting company though...doing it yourself is the best guarantee you can get.

I agree, and that should have been the case. But my guess is my old provider was not keeping up to date back ups at all. Their excuse was that they kept (live) back ups (in case someone needed to put their site back up without emailing them), on a seperate server BUT on the same network and it was lost too. This makes no sense, and I noticed their hosting site itself was fine. That is why I just went with another host.
