Halo 2 on Xlink Kai or XBC

Anyone play on either one? I don't play on Xbox live since my xbox is modded, but do play on both of these quite often.

For those that use Xlink Kai, have you had problems with it lately? For me it has been lagging like crazy and I usually can't even get on as it get stuck "Requerying orbital mesh"

As for XBC is there a way to play where you don't have to enter a room to see the game? On Xlink Kai you just connect to Halo 2 in general and your box will show all the games available, but on XBC I get sick of going from the box to the computer to keep switching rooms until I find one I like.

Why the crap is your Box modded? Get that crap off of there and play for real.

I, as a video game developer, find it offensive to catch people with modded material in or on their box, as it violates the copyrights that are included with the game... not to mention it is illegal and prosecution can be taken place for violating that copyright.

Right now I am creating a game and we are figuring out a way to detect for modded material. If it's there, we allow a patch to run that disables the game to ever be played again on that box, as it is illegal, and a slap to the face of the people that made the game.

However, I'm glad that you don't play on XBL with that content. I'd just get rid of it all-together, but that's just my opinion, and Bungie doesn't mind if you have it on there anyway... so long as you don't use it in matchmaking.

Play for real? I do play for real. I don't have Halo mods on, the only modifications I have are to allow me to put all my games on my hard drive and run them from there. I'm not one of those pansies who has Halo mods on so they can leap through the roof and have auto-aim on. Don't make assumptions.

Of course I don't play on XBL since XBL doesn't allow modified xboxes on their system. I have a switch to turn my mods off, but don't wish to play on XBL anyway, too many whiners and it costs money. People who pay whine too much, people on Xlink and XBC don't whine anywhere near as much. I guess that's because they aren't paying for the game experience, but I don't know.

As for your slap in the face comments....I buy a game and copy it to my hard drive so that I never have to load the discs again, and then the discs gather dust, the game is still played, and the purchase has still been made. Where does the slap in the face come in? Game developers get mad if users don't get up over and over again to put their disc in and out? If so, you are a strange bunch.

You don't need a mod to leap through the roof or auto aim. The game mechanics are perfectly capable of creating those types of glitches for you without out-of-game influence.

Super bounce & sniper sweep are just the tip of the iceberg for Halo exploits. Unfortunately, Bungie could care less if you found a way to exploit normal game mechanics.

Ah, you made it sound like your box was modded so you COULDN'T play on XBL. Read back your first post and you'll see what I meant.

And yes, pansies is the best way to explain them suckers that can't play for real. I only complain about XBL BECAUSE of those idiots that need to cheat, boost, mod, or do whatever just to get their rank higher. It makes me want to punch them in the face.

Modded Xbox... using mods... they can both be used the wrong way, which is what I thought you said you were doing. Oh well.

Anyway, I don't play on Xlink or XBC... mostly because I don't know what they are.

Yeah that's cool 17, I get a little jumpy thats all.

I have never played on XBL so I have no rank or gamertag, before I got my xbox i played halo a lot with some friends and when I would watch them on XBL I had no desire to play on it.

As for Xlink and XBC, they are similar to XBL, but are limited in the games they support. Halo 2 obviously is available, and the majority of the people on those systems are playing that.
