Hi Forum,
I was thinking it would be extremly useful to the herp vets if someone came up with a herp resource at one of them Vet Colleges the forum be managed buy the college . Think of all the possible sources of info and treatments being utilized at large Zoo's and by other herp experts. Any of you Vet students reading this your the answer to my prayers..
I doubt anyone is publishing any new treatments for Resp infection and parasitic treatments.
Maybe someday ... Its really difficult to find a micro Lab that can handle a reptile cult correctly much less know the correct sensativity or drug of choice. The best lab resource was a lab in colorado for lab results and blood chems and such. but they work on mamals . I can tell you that many animals IE aquatic reptiles have bacteria that may not fit in to group thats found routinely in mamals.
Most vets have there own treament practices that are based on experience not research.
