fleas!
we just got a new puppy, and its infested with fleas, bad. we gave it a flea bath, and combing the fleas out currently, but is there anything else we can do? the puppy is only 7weeks old, so i dont think flea collars and such will work....help?

Go to the vet and get a capstar pill..Im not sure but I think its okay for puppies and kittens..Anyway they work pretty good..

Well something natural that I have used when I had dogs, cats , puppies etc is Garlic also help get rid of certain types of parsitic worms

Please be careful!!! Alot of flea "control" is toxic to puppies,your best bet is to bring it to the vet to be checked out otherwise a bath with baby shampoo is the best thing to do....but only once every few days.....treat the house with all animals outside first.Alot of over the counter flea stuff is also toxic so please be careful....good luck!!!!

Any shampoo will suffocate fleas. Comb as many out as you can and I'd go for the Capstar +/- advantage or frontline. Capstar is ok to use on a puppy 4 weeks of age and older. And the topicals are for 6 weeks and older.
Make sure you get him to a vet to be checked over for othere parasites and such.
