sigh...here we go again. NO PROFANITY ON THE FORUMS
I have had to edit a few posts recently from some relatively new members so I guess I need to make my weekly "no profanity" post since apparently the TOS doesn't get read much.
Please refrain from the use of ANY profanity however mild you may feel it may be. It is not allowed here at all in any form. This includes changing letters to characters to beat the curse filter. If what ever you encrypt with characters leaves the word obvious as to what it was or if the context of the sentence reveals or makes obvious...please find another way to express your emotions. We try hard to keep the site "family friendly". The admins and owner of this site have discussed thouroughly on many occasions and have come to the conclusion that sites that allow profanity have very little or no respect as a source for information as it causes the whole site to look immature. Profanity offends some people. Not many and yes, it's on TV and radio for all to see. That doesn't mean it doesn't offend people though and it's a weak argument for allowing it here. The lack of profanity offends NO ONE. If it honestly does offend you that it's not allowed here, you have a quick choice to make. Msg me your feelings on the matter and I will help you make it

What's that Brian? A Nora to english dictionary? Speaking of immaturity issues...I'm going to pick on Nora for a minute and her "kideese". I think our friendship can endure this. I hope so anyway LOL. Nora's kideese only bothers me because I KNOW that she's smarter than that but chooses to be that way and she's older than 11, has the boobs to prove it and so has no excuse lol. Personally, I would have outlawed that gibberish long before mild profanity...but we are a democracy and the ayes outlawed the profanity and so we do enforce it. Our site owner has absolutly no grasp on grammar either so good luck getting a ruling against poor typing. Kideese only bothers me (doesn't offend) so I don't have to, and usually don't ever respond to it. For the record, you may save a nanosecond or two by typing "U" instead of "you" or "cuz" instead of "because", or "2" instead of "to" or "too". (2 for two makes sense - no complaints there) but you lose a lot of audience because a LOT of people refuse to defile their own intellect by trying to make sense of it. I'm picking on Nora here because she's a moderator and she answers questions. If I came here looking for answers and a moderator answered my questions with kideese. I would go look elsewhere. As with the profanity, it makes us look like immature little punks. There is no rule against it though. Just please think about it especially when answering questions or giving advice to new people that don't know that you are reasonably smart but just a lazy, goofy typist that for some reason wants people to think you are prepubescent.
This isn't about Nora but a LOT of members here. The phrase is "Should HAVE" not "should OF". This also applies to "could HAVE" and "would HAVE". Where ever you people live, please do not learn to write by how people around you speak. ...this coming from a guy who learned this lesson from raising his hand in a 9th grade English class to ask what "S.A." (essay) stands for lol.

Oh, and before anyone starts, I'm not speaking out on all slang. I say "I'm gonna" or "I shoulda" sometimes. "Ain't" rears it's ugly head now and then and if you dig back to the pre-profanity rule days, you might find some of my old posts with a few cuss words. It's this crap like "Duz NE1 Hav NE cobras 4sale" that makes me want to pop out of your monitors and strangle you.
