My brb's name

What do you think of when I call him/her "Sprite"? Because it is a term for a faery, but my boyfriend insists that the extent of the worlds vocabulary ends with the thought of Coca-Cola, Mr. Pibb, and everything else that goes with the citrus soda. Should I leave it? I was going to name him/her more specifically once I find out the sex so I thought it would fit. Am I really a dork?

i personally like to wait and name my snake based on his/her habits. for example my female bci is always very very active at night, so i named her Luna. Little things like that make the snakes name more significant to me.

Yeah, I chose sprite because the brb is so colorful and almost whats the word? Translucent or something. It's late...

I did think about it though. he/she's really sweet also, not nearly as unpredictable and bitey as I've heard they are prone to be. I think a faery-like name would be perfect. When I find out the sex I might just switch it to a particularly fem or masculine name- or I might just leave it the way it is. I think it could fit. But anyways, do you think of say, the artist Brian Froud (for those that know who he is) or Amy Brown, or... do you think of citrus soda?
