Question Please?

I just thought of this as I am getting ready to start quilting again. My BP is on my cutting/sewing table - at least until a few changes get made over the next few weeks, including his new cage. I enjoy sitting here (my puter is next to the table) and watching him when he isn't out with me as he is quite active lately. My concern is this - will running the sewing machine on the same table (the vibrations will travel through the table and hence through his cage) cause him too much stress? If so I will use my dining table for sewing until the changes are complete and he is no longer sharing my quilting table. I don't think it vibrates too much - but then I'm not a snake. TIA

My dance teacher told me that putting the machine on one of the end sides of the table will cut out some of the vibrating. And you could also just put some cushioning under the snake cage. Have someone run it for you and put your hand in the cage to see if you feel anything.
