Seems like about the only time I get here is when I'm at work and the boss is out of the office. I am hoping that will be changing soon as there are changes that are going to happen in my life - hopefully for the better.
In the meantime - I mostly have no desire to turn my puter on at home after work. 45+ min drive in 100+ temps leave me drained and soaked (no ac) by the time I get home. It is now in the 90s - lots of humidity (monsoon season) and got stalled in some water (but got my car off the road and waited it out). Had my beautiful granddaughter for a week - she went to work with me but we took one day off to go to the zoo.
Also got my cat back from my daughter. He is such a gentleman and is no bother to my snakes - both of whom are doing well.
Took El Cajone out today (he is quite active lately) and we went to get the mail. Got stopped by a few teenagers cuz they thought he was cool. We talked for a while and it was an enjoyable visit - they had lots of questions as they had not thought a snake would not be a good pet. lol
I was finally able to see the pictures in Bret's cage building post - but there were 2 on page 3 that I cannot see and wish I could. Anyway - I plan on checking out costs and availability this weekend cuz El really needs a bigger home very soon. It seems simple enough to do and I have all my things out of storage now, including my drill and saw.
Anyway - changes - will be going DSL soon cuz my boss want me to be able to work from home and only drive in 1-2 times a week. I am researching internet fax and "pc to pc" capability to allow me access to my puters at the office. Yes - I need access to 2 different puters (mine and what we call the server). Lots of details to work out yet since I do everything, including AR/AP and the business accounting. Hopefully the marketing I have been doing will provide us with more clients so I can start getting paid what my job is worth.
I already got us one new client - just hope we are able to keep them and get even more. hehe So . . . once I start working from home then I can pretty much do what I want when I want (within reason since some things do require immediate attention and assignment to the right appraiser). teeheehee And since he wants me working from home (and his girlfriend want me to even more) I am going to make him assist in rearranging my home to make room for the desk he will be providing me (and hopefully a new computer as well considering what he owes me in backpay). There is only so much room in a one-bdrm apartment . . .
Well - this is long enough and pretty much describes what is happening in my life right now. LOL Life is good!
