when?

should i pull newborn babies out from the mother rat? the rat thats about to give birth was a mother before, and shows no aggression when the babys are handled.

ok, cause i heard you need to leave them with the mom for a day, cause when they come out their not to nutritious? would it effect the mom any to take them right away?

Rex depends on what size you need for feeding? Also rats a couple days old are more nutrious than new born rat babies. Same with chicks if you can wait a couple days the better off you are.
