you can chill them for a few minutes to slow down their metabolism in the fridge but not freeze them

I meant can u kill them and freeze them like u would a rat?? See the reason why i ask is because i am planning a trip to Flordia and can't take my gecko w/ me. So i am leaving him w/ a friend but she has a problem watching things die and stuff like that. I know that there is this stuff called can-o-crickets but idk how great that would be to feed him for a week. So thats what made me think of freezing them. He likes to eat the crickets from either my fingers or tweezers so to him it doesn't matter if they r dead or not.

You can freeze them, but odds are, your leos won't eat them unless they are alive and hopping around.

I just did a search on crickets and found out that you can freeze them just fine and even revive them in your microwave on the popcorn setting after dipping them in hair gel.
