Re: WHo's From Michigan?
I was wondering when you'd respond, complaining.
I don't live in Michigan. But Sam does! And I'm thinking I'll never move there. Sounds like it sucks.

Before I moved away I couldn't wait to get out. I was born and raised in a small farming community in mid-Michigan. I moved to the big city when I was 19. Now it's four years later and I can't wait to move back.
Michigan can be boring, sure. A lot of the people tend to be very traditional and conservative, which drives me nuts. But it's gorgeous is some places.
I would never advise anyone to move to Mid-Michigan, but West Michigan and Northern Michigan are gorgeous. Eastern Michigan is a bit more progressive than the rest of the state. Ann Arbor is a hippie haven.
And then there's the UP. There's no one up there, and it's beautiful, mostly unspoiled wilderness across most of it. Lot's of great fishing and hunting and camping and hiking. It's great for outdoor lovers.
Michigan is very diverse, and it's hard to describe the whole state in one package.
How's that for a reply to this two year old zombie thread?

Re: WHo's From Michigan?
Southern Michigan and the Detroit area are about the only parts of the state that I haven't spent some amount of time in.

I am from MI, its bad here but its not a whole lot better other places. I am from the middle lol. I live in Holt, I used to not like it hear much but it could be worse.
