Rattle snake movie

Hi all I just watched an oldish movie about a town that had a huge problem with rattlers, it seems they were all living in large numbers in an old mine shaft. I think (but could be wrong) the movie was called silent killers.
Anyway my question is this, at one point a diamond back rattler goes into someones car! you think she's gonna get bitten, but it seems this woman had what looked like a pine snake or something (had a black head and was non toxic) anyway this snake killed the rattler and I was just curious if this was possible? I dont believe everything I see in movies lol but for some reason this stuck in my mind so I wanted to ask lol. Buck

well a king snake can and will kill and eat a rattler (that's why they're called king snakes!)
Other snakes also eat venemous, Indigos will eat rattlers (there's a pic I found, copy and paste, I didn't post since I don't know the copywrite http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...r01/indigo.jpg)
And black headed pythons in Australia are known for eatting venemous snakes.
