A little bio of myself...

Figure I'd give a bio of myself so I'd feel more comfortable being on this site. Don't ask why, I just had the feeling lately like you guys could care less about me since you didn't know anything about me. BUT anyways...

--My real name is Adrya
--I'm 5'7" with lots of thick blonde hair all the way down to my butt. Took me 4 years to grow it that long with only one trim(about 5 inches off) in that time.
--I'm almost 20 years old(omg I'm OLD) and my birthdate is 12-17-1985
--I just graduated high school on May 28th and will be going to West Virginia University(which is just right across the river from my house, downtown..) in the fall where I will major in biology, and go on from there. Mua ha.
--I'm originally from northern Virginia and lived in Fairfax County, now I live in northern West Virginia, but I totally love it here better. Don't ask why, I can't explain. Yes I'm sure there are many inbreds here in WV, but not as many as many of you people think.. lol
--As far as my personality goes... I'm totally not normal for a girl, I have more of a guy's personality. I'm a bit of a tomboy, I go around in my barefeet ALL the time, anywhere possible unless I'm really required to wear shoes depending on where I'm going... I'm REALLY weird, demented, eccentric, crazy and fun to be around, adventurous, nice, smart, though I do have my blonde moments... invert and extrovert, open-minded, do crazy things, say crazy things, I feel more like a stupid 10 year old than almost 20.. and when I get really hyper and start laughing and giggling nonstop about nothing, I start snorting when I can hardly breathe anymore and then I start drooling... and that continues for like 10-15 minutes and then I stop. lol... you get the point.
--I love all sorts of music, but mostly heavy metal and rock.. Nightwish, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Metallica, Green Day, The Killers, Static-X, Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds to Mars, SR-71, Sum 41, Slipknot, System of a Down, Disturbed......etc....
--I actually enjoy being KNEE DEEP in mud, literally.. when I'm out catching any kind of critters in the river behind my house... I really get sunk, but I never get stuck. And it's nasty, rotting tar-smelling mud, too. I've always been catching critters like that for years since I was little; out in my bare feet in the mud. Haha..
--I own LOTS of critters and many different species of snakes and turtles. I've mostly grown up with turtles. My growing collection consists of 2 Columbian RTBs, 5 ball pythons, 1 california kingsnake, 1 sumatran blood python, 1 northern water snake, 1 kenyan sand boa(11 snakes); 6 red-eared sliders, 3 northern red-belly turtles, 3 midland painted turtles, 4 eastern painted turtles, 1 african sideneck turtle, 1 eastern box turtle(18 turtles); 1 tokay gecko, 1 leopard gecko, 1 veiled chameleon; 2 parakeets, 1 patagonian conure parrot; 4 cats, 1 black labrador; several mice, and tons of pond goldfish.
--As far as hobbies go... I love to take care of and raise my snakes and other critters, and a few of my turtles I've had for 10 years. I love to hike, explore caves, catch all sorts of critters, study microbiology, biology, nature, birds, reptiles. I am also an awesome artist, though I rarely draw anymore. I like to build websites and do other fun things on the computer, and I like to build computers as well. I also love to go deer hunting in the fall, it is something that I always look forward to; and I like to tan and make fur skins. And I also like to collect animal skulls, and I have quite a dead collection.. and I love building ponds/water gardens...
--I do NOT smoke and glad I don't, I have NEVER touched drugs. I do drink occasionally and I can drink anything... even horrible mountain moonshine which is AWESOME even though it almost feels like it dissolves your insides. I have never been drunk and never want to be. I've been high, but not drunk. Oh and I love jello shots, especially when my neighbor has parties and invites us and he makes big ones in 3" cups.
--I have been in fistfights, about 3 in my life and I have won all 3, and let me tell you, I don't look like the kind of person who can kick butt, but whenever and whatever it is that I'm defending myself about and when I get REALLY mad (which is extremely scary for people who know me and have never seen me that mad before), I can REALLY hurt people, not that I really want to, but that's how things end up because people get stupid with me and start crap.

So yeah, I'm fricken weird.

Anyways... I think that's enough for now. Yeah.. but here's a few pics of my fish pond that I dug out and built completely by myself, along with my turtles' pond, too. Fish pond I built in 2003 and I built the turtle pond last summer. Fish pond is 14x14 feet and 2 feet deep and 2900 gallons. Turtle pond is 14x7 feet and 18 inches deep and 1400 gallons and amazingly holds them all well, plus there's a filter in the waterfall and another filter hidden elsewhere, so the pond itself does very well. I still haven't finished planting grasses and other plants around the pond, but the main part is done at least.

Very nice job on the ponds. I love ponds. Just the sound of the waterfall is so soothing. And by the way, where the heck were you when I was 20 years old.
Oops, you weren't even born yet. Oh well. LOL!

Those ponds look fricken awsome. I don't know many girls or people for that matter that like snakes and other reptile(in my area) I wish I lived where you live so I can find more critters. I live in a Desert, there are still many cool reptiles including one of the only two iguanas in the US the Desert Iguana , gets to hot in the summer though 110 and up some days!! I wish I was two years older , unless you like younger guys.

Thanks all for the compliments on the ponds. They were a lot of work but was well worth it, and I built some fine muscles by the time I was done with them, too.
