Hi Guys.

I don't know how many of you remember this, but a few weeks ago I told you about my VERY bad experience at the Reptile Museum in Hicksville NY. One of you (I'm sorry, I forgot who it was) recomended I contact the ASPCA... and I did the same day.
To make a long story short, they checked it out and wrote me back thanking me for my informing them.
today I read an article that the owner, manager and couple of other people related to the museum were charged with Cruelty to animals!!!
It was taken care of and we made a difference. Thank you!

Now if more agencies would do thier part as well. I know a petstore not far from here. someone had went to the police dept and filed a complaint, the animal control was called, animal control called that owner and set a time to be there and the owner got there long before animal control and had it all clean before they arrived. Give it a couple weeks and the animals will be back like they were. WELL... we're still tryin though.

I just got a job there (haven't started yet), and although some of the exhibits were not up to par like I belive they should be, I thought they were a pretty cool place.
They told me that they hired a new guy with a degree in zoology that didn't know anything about reptiles...do you think it was him that you saw doing something wrong??

Please let me know what happened. I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into before I actually start there.
