Boa version 1.1?

Hi all! In my deluded youth, i collected reptiles from where else? pet shops! Now im searching for my first, quality, captive bred boa. In my search i found something rather odd, snakes are apparently upgradeable. Many classifieds list 0.5 columbian boa ...... 1.1 .... 1.0...... what is up with that? I realize that this must be a horrible newbe question, but hey, you've gotta start somewhere.

1.0 is a male, 0.1 is a female as far as I know. I would guess they were saying that they had 5 females for sale.
