super easy cage cleaning (a little gross)

my jcp has a fast metabolism and p00ps often - usually in her water dish YUCK!! and sometimes i dont get home till late in the eve. YUCK!! anyhow, last time she shed, she p00ped while she was sheddin and left a nice little "poop sausage" hanging in her tree [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img] it wasnt even touchng anything, i just took the skin out and threw it away - i wish i could get her to do that every time [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

i was just thinking scientificall - its much more sanitary and releases less odor when neatly bundled up like my dear little princess was so kind to do for me [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img] i didnt have to carefully carry the nasty water dish outside dont spill THAT on the carpet! and replace the substrate and ... deal with the smell for a good 10 min etc etc. it was the snakey equivalent of clumping cat litter [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

put a lil toilet paper roll in there to make it all nice and neat. I hate to say it, but I wish my snakes would do that...but no they got to slither through it and smear it all along the glass....they must hate me!!!!

Gross, I dont' know what I'd do if mine did that.... mine all go in the same place in their cage for some reason-- front right? Although the other week, my BP (bad girl) peed/pooped on the carpet when I was putting her back in her cage! Our CaliKing often produces those [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] It's cool for cleaning, but I like to keep good sheds and hang 'em up, so it's a bit of a bummer in that respect :\
