What I did for my birthday

Last Monday was my birthday, so we dropped our son off at my inlaws, and went with my family to Chicago to see Blue Man group. I had been with my parents and brother to see them in Las Vegas, and loved it, so I made my husband go with to see them again. My dad invited my aunt, which at first I wasn't thrilled with, until I found out she was getting us a limo. We went to her house in Aurora, where a brand new Lincoln Navigator limo picked us up. The driver said it could hold 16 people! It was huge, and really neat inside. Even had tvs and colored lights. He took us into Chicago to a nice italian restaurant, where we had great food. From there he took us to the theater, but since we got there almost an hour early, he said he was just going to sit right in front of the theater until they made him move. After a few minutes, my parents decided to go in and get my aunts ticket (had to pick it up cuz it was bought after I had gotten the rest of ours, and I had to get it direct from the theater to get her a seat next to us.) Evidently all the people standing outside the theater thought someone famous was in the limo, because as soon as the door opened, they all started cheering! My mom waved to them all, but I think they were a little disappointed. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] When they finally made the limo driver move, we went inside. We had great seats, only 3 rows back, and the show was amazing. Bought some cool souveniers, and asked a blue man for a kiss since it was my birthday! Had a great time, definitely a birthday I will remember for a while!

Thanks everybody! I was thrilled just to get to go to the show, but having a limo was even better! We're not big drinkers, so the bar was pretty much untouched except for the pepsi and one beer, but it was fun anyway! Kirkje, I'm in Muncie. We've lived here for not quite 3 years, and we'd like to get out of here and move somewhere a little closer to home. Muncie is boring!
