Parents and past experiences with animals/herps
In this topic go ahead and post stories you have heard from your parents or relatives about experiences/encounters with reptiles/animals...
My dad LOL here's a long list from what hes told me.
1. Alley-gators lol (alligators)
-My dad once told me since his dad was a chicago cop they pretty much did anything and everything. So once he said his dad brought home 2 alligators (or was it crocodiles, i forgot) and so he housed them in the bathtub. And he said they were always feeding on hamburger meat/steaks/ and so on. He said one day they just had to remove them so he said his dad dumped them in an alley sewer somewhere lol...
2. Monkey
-Yes a monkey...My nana just had to buy it when they went to mexico (i think mexico)...They told me how it was like a real person and how it would never want to be set down after being held like a baby...
3. Scorpion
- i kinda regret this one...When my dad and his family had a mobile home when they were on vacation in southwest/mexico (forgot which one)...
My dad got bit by a scorpion while laying in bed... He told me he got bit on the finger and his mom (my nana) cut some finger off or something and started sucking/spitting out the blood...Wow
4. Bear
My dad told me his dad in Yosemite fed bear's whome were crossing some caught frozen fish from the freezer in foil lol...
