I was upstairs turning off all the snake lights...
and i saw that my rosy boa was shedding (my most tresured snake,and oldest)
i saw she had crawled threw her own shed and was suffacating,
(her tail was still in the other end )
when i picked her up out of the cage she was limp like she was dead
and i opened the shed up so she could breathe and to see if she was still alive
she slowly started to breathe and move again
now she's ok
realy weird,
any body else ever have this happen?

BG, mine has done that exact same thing before! I couldn't figure out what he was up to, so I just let him be. I did try to pick him up at first, but he seemed stuck and didn't want to be "helped." He eventually crawled back out on his own. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

That's pretty scary. Good thing you got him out in time. There was a guy back in the early days of RTB who posted a pic of his boa who had just shed then crawled back into the old skin and doubled back and rested in the shed w/ both the head and tail sticking out one end of the shed without tearing the skin at all.
