I honestly couldn't tell you about the overweight part from the pic. What I do think each time I think of you and the care you're giving Chance is simply, God Bless!

Overweight? Maybe, but she looks like a healthy weight for an adult female to me. The wound looks like it's finally going to stop being a pain. =)

it is suppose to stay open. but it does seem to be healing from the inside to outside. that would be good.

Well, it looks like it's draining good. I think the problem you're having is retaining fluid in tissue pockets that get irritated later on and propetuates the problem. It doesn't appear to have any swollen fluid pockets, so I'd be inclined to say that you're nearing then end of these issues. |
