That has to be a stupid joke. A ploy to get money obviously, i really doubt he'll eat the rabbit. not when its a source of income! Get a real job.

Despite his cruel heart, the man's a genius! Who knows... he could be lying to us and be scamming us for our money. I mean the genius has already recieved 14,000 dollars for making a website and threatening to kill a rabbit. Who knows though, he ight not even own the rabbit or kill it.
I still say, if you can report him then do it... Lying or not he deserves some jail time.

I think it's hilarious! I'm not sure anyone quite takes it seriously... And if he wants to cook his rabbit, he is well entitled to. People hunt and eat rabbit all the time. We all know that in some other countries people eat dog (and even in restaurants here in the U.S., i.e. Taco Bell   ). He might as well be holding a cow hostage in a place where people find cows cute, such as India (though that would be religiously insensitive... and they don't necessarily so much find them cute I guess). Anyway, the guy has a funny idea, and he's innovative... and in our country, we reward that by buying their merchandise (but anyone who just gives a donation really is stupid). |

I don't think he's necessarily desperate... just imagine a group of buddies sitting around. "Hey, it would be hilarious if we made a website and told everyone we were holding Toby hostage. And then they could make donations to save him. And we could have merchandise." People don't do this kinda thing because they genuinely need money (though they may actually need it).
