I agree that they guy is still alive, you can tell just by his skin(he would be pretty pale if he was really dead), and I'm sure if the snake really got a hold of him he would have a lot of bruses. That's pretty sick that someone would do that....imagine the smell. YUCK!. But about the snake vs. a pit...depends on where the pit got ahold of the snake. A pits jaws could easily crush a snakes head, but I don't really want to know the REAL out come of something like that.

Get out of here, how on earth can you imagine that a snake, capable of eating an adult antelope, gazelle, whatever, wouldn't be capable of eating us?

Louise, I have heard of the snake snare. People who use those things deserve to get bit while trying to place them out in the wild, parks, playgrouds, etc. lol. I don't see what the big problem with re-locating these "deadly" snakes is?!

i think i may have misunderstood you...they are not used to place the snake. they are used to decapitate them.

That's funny that your dog is scared of snakes. Those are the "meanest" dogs you can find (that is of course if they are raised to be that way). I've never had my dog around my snake, but I'm sure he would tuck his tail and run if she ever hissed at him, lol

Louise, what I meant by that was I don't see the meaning in the snake snare when you can easily round them up into some sort of cage and move them to a more rural area. Tha's very sad that people think that the only way to make an area safe is buy chopping a snakes head off. And I find it even more sick that they have "snake soup" and other things of that nature on there!

yeah it made me sick too. it is sad what is done to snakes. if it was a cat or dog it would have never been allowed.

Yeah really. Animal control would be all up your @&%## if similar things were made for cats and dogs
