Go to your User CP. On that page, you will see the reputation you recieved. The colored boxes is not indicative of the type of rep you recieved, but the rep of the person who gave it to you. If you're lucky, there will be comments there that should show you what you did wrong, but if there isn't, you will see who posted it and what thread it was on. I would first read that thread and see is you can find anything blatently wrong that you may have done. If you still can't explain it, PM the people who gave it to you and ask why. If it's justified and true, leave it alone, but work on not doing whatever it was that caused the negative rep in the first place. If it isn't justified, PM a mod like JuliusSqueezer and see if there's something they can do about it.
