Advertising snake skin products on a herp website
I have been waiting months for Pythons.net to come back online because of an article they had. Well I noticed tonight that they were back up and went to the site to check it out. The first thing I noticed were the nice new pics on the front page. The next thing I noticed was the advertising links on the bottom of the page, one of which is for boots which advertises boots made from python and gator right in the add. Now I am not stupid and know that the clothing industry uses pyghon, croc and gator all the time. But it seems strange and kind of erie to see it advertised on the front page of a website that is devoted to the care of boas and pythons. Or maybe I am jsut over sensitive to this kind of thing. Decide for you selves.

That is really erie, something you want to learn about and protect, but hey they do make nice boots...thats just sad that the web site did that. Money and sponsor ship isn't worth it if it defeats your purpose.

Ads by google is a crock. They pick up keywords and you have little control over what gets through. We get a LOT of feather boa ads here lol. We had one show up for a noose pole designed to decapitate snakes. Shane promised to block it and I haven't seen it since...anyway, that's all that is.

I don't know if its advertising.... I think its just set where it does a google seach for what your looking at. We have it here...though I've never seen snake skin boots advertised here. Its on the left, and at the top it says adds by gooooooogle. I may be wrong but I dont think that these are paid advertisments.

I just saw a couple of herp boot advertisements that found their way onto this site through the Google ads. Kind of strange to get a dose of reality here, but what can you do?
