This is the system that I built for my older stepson. He is in college and is working in computer animation and needed a better system than he had in order to do the types of animation he was working on. So seeing as I own a computer company and build them for a living I decided to build him something that would blow his mind. AND IT DID!
I build him a system useing one of the new Asus dual SLI video mother boards and an AMD 64 processor. You can go to my site and see a rundown of all the components and some pictures of the system itself after it was completed.
The all around system performance is outrageous. I have some bad #$%^&#$%^&#$%^& computers already and this thing blew them away at almost all levels. The 3dMark score for this system was an astounding 5700pts. This was at peak overclocking levels though and we turned it back a bit after the tests to where it "only" scored 3800. My personal computer which is pretty good with P4 2.4ghz, 1gb. ram and an ATI All in Wonder 9700 pro video card only scored a measly 995 with the same benchmark test. Made me feel weak.
Well I am sure that all you real computer junkies who are always looking for the next greatest performing machine will appreciate this one.

I have been pricing out building a similiar setup, but with the Tyan dual AMD-64 board, and an all in wonder, because I am not really a gamer, nor would do anything needing hardcore vid hardware. But that setup is a gamer's dream. LOL.
