Clean Up Your RTB Albums

Things have gotten out of hand and tolerance is growing thin. If you don't want to read this entire rant, skip to the bottom for the recap.

If you have photos missing from your albums or even entire albums missing, before you complain or reupload your photos, please take a moment and consider what the photos were and why they might be missing. It's OK to have off topic photos. Not everything has to be about reptiles. But RTB is not the place to store your porn or marijuana photos or anything of that nature. If you happen to be a hot chick and your photos of yourself are inherently eyecandy, that's great. I can't help being bald and you can't help being hot. However, some of you guys need to find a new place to store your pin up girl photos, nude or not. RTB is not the place. Random photos appear on the front page in no particular order and we don't want to have to cringe when some of these photos pop up. There have been some discussion about what should or should not be allowed to reside in the "private" albums. For quite some time, we have been fairly unconcerned since these photos do not flash the front page. However, recently I stumbled into a private album that was loaded with photos of home grown pot plants, shrooms and a stollen photo of another member who I KNOW there is bad blood between the 2 involved parties and a KKK uniform was photoshopped onto this person and I KNOW there was no consent to use this photo in this manner. We do not want people storing photos like this here public or private because they can link them elsewhere and it can be easily seen where these photos come from and we do not want nor do we need that kind of attention whether we are legally responsible or not.

I'm going through today and deleting anything offcolor that I can find. If you find something was missing and you think I was in the wrong, by all means email or msg me but I don't suggest just reuploading it again or you may find yourself with no album, paid for or not. I don't really have time for this and I'm on dialup which makes it even tougher so I'm going to be in a really bad mood for the next several hours On the upside, I get to see everyone's cool snakes and stuff.

Applies to all public and private redtailboa.net albums owned by all members

1- NO NUDITY, No pinup girls or boys either. (example of pinup...photo of a long row of thong clad butts. Nice butts mind you but they don't need to be here)
2- NO drug or drug paraphernalia photos, logos, avatars etc (exceptions for ON TOPIC things like a vile of baytril or something...come on folks, you know what I mean) No pot plants, pot leaves etc.
3- No Photos with profanity or vulgar comments in the captions or overlayed text.

If this really really makes you mad and you think we are being totally unfair, please whine to BWSmith. He is our complaint dept. I'm too busy right now babysitting the photo albums to listen to it lol.

Thank you Brett. I was wondering the other day who the member was the had nothing but her hands over her breasts and then realized that some idiot had put that in his gallery. I am no prude by any means I assure you, but I was quite shocked to see it here. Some peoples children eh! I can't believe that someone would upload pics of pot plants too. I thought that the albums were for pictures of snakes, their owners and the owners with their snakes. But there are some children on here that obviously need some parental supervision IE. YOU, LOL.

I deleted a few porn collections and found a couple of users that are abusing the free albums by using multiple user names. One user had 8 accounts. Now he has zero. It costs Shane a lot of money to run this site. Please don't steal from him. If you need more gallery space here, the price to upgrade is quite affordable.

What can be done about the off color, rude & generally inappropriate pictures that come up in the Neww Posted area? I'm no prude but pictures of snow penis andt shirts-w-bad language are not what I expect. Please give out the physical addresses of these abusers so one of us can pay a visit???
