I just received a call from my wife a little while ago, she told me one of my best friend's was just killed in an accident. I feel that it really bring's thing's into perspective when something like this happen's! Just as a reminder to us all we are never promised tomorrow! He was 30 and leave's behind a wife of 5 year's. So sometime today say a silent prayer for her, and maybe for yourself also, we never know when our number will be called.

Still haven't gotten any info on what happened BG. My wife work's at a doctor's office with his wife. We think it was an auto accident but still not sure?? We were pretty close, and I just talked with him the other day they had just bought a new house and his wife had just finished nursning school and was starting a job at a local hospital.

Eric ..SORRY to hear that Our thoughts and prayers go out to you guys, especially his wife at this time. She'll need the support of friends like yourself during the times ahead no doubt.
As for the tommorrow thing. Your right..you never know. it can be weird talking/being with a person one day and they are gone the next. I had the experience when I was like 23 years old and my sister in law was killed in a car accident like that. Hubby and I were her guardians and she had gone out with a friend, the next time I saw her was in an ICU. two days later I was the one making all the burial arrangements. Life can be cut short with no warnings. Ya just gotta live each and every day like it may be your last one.

How awful for all of you. The family and friends he left behind have each other to lean on during this difficult time. Don't turn away from anyone right now, especially his wife. Just like you will need someone to turn to as one of his best friends. That is a special bond and since it was so brutally broken, you will need people who understand. Now is the time she will need her friends and family the most. No matter how awkward, no matter how much it hurts, you all need to be there for each other. We are here for you. Be strong but don't be afraid to cry. Let it out and start the healing process. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I lost a step-son (may as well have been my own son, he called me mom). If you need a shoulder you have mine here. I can not say I know what you are going through, we all experience things differently, but I am a symapthetic ear should you need one.

Man I'm sorry to hear about that. Must be something going around. We have like 20 people in my battalion on emergency leave right now. Seems like alot of people are passing on right now. Send our best to his family and yours. JD

All my best thought are with you, Shad. I have been dealing with this recently as well and what has helped me cope is remembering the good times I had with my friends and all of opportunities I had, and took, to tell them what they meant to me. My heart goes out to you.
